PAINT WITH ME - THE PROCESS:

For me, painting is as much intuitive as it is technical. It’s a combination of who I am—the artist and the art teacher-researcher. Most days, I spend the morning immersed in my materials, wrapped in a cocoon of incredible hues and bright color schemes. Occasionally, I’ll listen to a podcast on marketing or business, but for the most part, I embrace the stillness, the blank canvas, the colors waiting to co-mingle. It’s meditative, hypnotizing, and the best way for me to express the human experience.

”Painting is my way of honoring my time on earth. It’s my way of paying homage to the human experience. And it’s a process that moves me every day.”- Jesno

The current direction of my art is painting contemporary , modern art and coffee painting. My beginning stage with still life paintings was finding the beauty in everyday objects, which I really enjoyed using watercolors and oil.

The most interesting part of the painting process to me was always the composition or design phase. The beauty of still life is that I look for relationships of shape, color, contrasts of light & dark and what is to be the center of interest. Because my paintings are strong in design and color they bring life and energy to a room.

"My painting is near and dear to my heart " -Jesno
